Title: “InnovAports - Innovative ICT solutions for Atlantic Ports”
Description of the Project / Partner sought: The main objective of this project is to develop and implement innovative ICT solutions for EU Atlantic Area Ports. The project will contribute to the modernization of ports, as one of the main challenges identified by the European Commission on transport. Ports are essential parts for the Atlantic Area economy, as main catalyst for regional development and for the domestic market.
The proposed action is aimed to study optimum ICT solutions based on the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning and to carry on a series of real-life trials in ports in order to validate their performance and impact.
Cooperation between the port authorities will allow to develop best practices around the Single Window and "Smart Port" concept in order to implement new processes and tools in a coordinated manner, updating the Atlantic Area port system.
