IDS Institute: active citizenship & diversity
IDS Institute is a non-profit organization officially qualified as public interest by Portuguese Government operating on entire country. IDS Institute has significant expertise in financing and sustaining supports and services in the field of develop the skills, knowledge, understanding and respect of diversity (cultural, ethnic, social, linguistic, religious, gender, etc.) expressed by fair implementation of human rights, democratic values, equal opportunities, non-violence, all supported by active citizenship. IDS Institute promotes an inclusive, intercultural society based on European values while preserving social and cultural diversity.
We concentrate our research, consulting, technical assistance, and training in practice groups that help leaders who are working to build better futures for children, families, and communities.
