Title: Cultural work & event management: Concerts, literature, exhibitions
Description of the Project: Objective of the cultural department of the municipality of Schönberg is to offer and promote an open and diverse cultural program for all age groups. Events range from Workshops like "International Dances" over art exhibitions, concerts, theatre plays and Cabaret to excursions and environment educational hikes and much more. The target groups are the inhabitants of the municipality Schönberg, but also of the surrounding area, as well as the guests of this tourism-dominated region.
The volunteer´s taks may include the assistance in the organization and implementation of cultural offerings and events, providing practical support to other local non-profit cultural providers (e.g. museums), developing your own cultural offers and events, especially for young international people. Volunteers have the great opportunity to integrate their own interests, creativity and skills.
It offers accommodation with its own room, food expenses and monthly ticket for local public transport.
Partner Sought: Voluntarees from Estonia and Sweeden with a good German level (A2) in order to communicate with the co-workers and be interested in cultural work and interested in culture in general, with empathy for working and communicating with people of all ages. It is advantageous to have a valid driver’s license.
