Title: Virtual reality is the solution. Training teachers to develop students' digital skills and creativity to express their feelings impacted by Covid-19 pandemic.

Description of the project: Many teachers noticed that the Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on their students. For instance, they observed that students’ psychomotor, cognitive and sensory abilities weakened during the lock-down period. In addition to that, students appeared to be less happy, to feel more stressed and lonely due to the lock-down. This caused a lack of focus and self-confidence for students. As we live in a digital era and in order to respond to these problems, Extramus, an Italian Agency for International Mobility Services, has thought about how to use digital tools to help socialization and to help students to have a proper education despite the pandemic.

The goal of this project is to train teachers so that they will be qualified and help students in their digital socialization. In this project, teachers will be trained and acquire IT skills and acknowledgement on virtual reality. After this training, teachers will be able to use IT tools (including virtual reality) in order to create artistic activities with their students. These activities will be related to special days and topics such as Europe day. In order to facilitate the communication and socialization between students, teachers and partners, an online platform will be created.

Partner sought: They are still looking for partners for this KA227 project. They already have a Turkish school and an Italian organization involved in this project. They are now looking for new partner schools working with children from 11 to 14 years-old.
