Title: For SEN Students, K229 Project 'Quality Education Quality Employment'
Description of the Project: A school located in İzmir (Turkey), would like to see the academic trainings given to mildly mentally handicapped people in the education systems in different countries. The aim of the project is to educate our students who have received their professional qualifications and to provide high quality employment.
They have been training mentally disabled children since 1986. They have 132 students that their ages between 15 and 23. At the same time they have 31 academical personel to teach. They have 6 classrooms and 6 workshops. To improve the students vocational skills, they have ceramic, agricultural, metal, textile, handicraft and home economics workshops. Besides they have music, art, gym lessons for improve student's socialty. The school is located in İzmir (Turkey).
