Title of the Project: Conscious Online Behaviour for Young Adults
Description of the project: ipcenter.at is a leading private vocational/professional training provider from Austria, with more than 20 years of experience.
At the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's all about hygiene. Everyone from the youngest to the elderly already knows how to protect themselves against the virus.
However, only few pay attentions to maintain their cyber hygiene - this is what the project helps with.
The global pandemic led to a significant increase in the usage of online-based services in almost all areas of life. Moving one's life online comes with various concerns such as ambiguous online security, online banking and online shops, targeted ads, anonymous communication, secure file storage (cloud services), encryption etc. Although these concerns were present before, the measures to contain COVID-19 increased their importance significantly.
The project wants to tackle the following topics by developing/implementing training offers on:
- identifying scams online
- securing data online
- online banking procedures
- online trading
- source verification
- misinformation and fake news
Partners sought: For a planned Erasmus Plus project, they are looking for partners.
