In the land of the Northern lights and Midnight sun, lies also International Youth Center Vasatokka, which is one part of Finnish Youth center network. Values like respect of life and nature, community, equality, multi-culture, healthy way of life and common responsibility lead our work. Our main actions like camp schools and other youth groups mainly base on non-formal and experiental learning in the arctic nature. Vasatokka is highly international center and remarkable meeting point of different cultures, over 80 % of visitors come from abroad. We take also part in Erasmus+ programme, working mainly as receiving organization for EVS-volunteers so far.
