Description of the project: CEPA ENTREVÍAS is a Spanish Centre for Adult Education that currently offers Initial, Secondary, Basic Professional Training (gardening), Spanish for foreigners and various teachings for personal development (English, Physical Education and Computer Science) in a multicultural neighbourhood near the centre of Madrid (Entrevías).
Entrevías is undoubtedly one of the neighbourhoods with the lowest average income in Madrid, and with a school dropout rate that is twice the average of the capital, but it is a participatory and supportive district. For this reason, since it opened its doors in 1975, their centre has been trying to give an educational opportunity to all those people in the neighbourhood who decide to resume their training, both academic and work.
They have detected the need to implement new methodologies that develop the different competencies of the students and prepare them for real life, for this reason, they want to develop the Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology.
Partner sought: They are looking for a European Adult Education Centre with a similar profile to theirs for a KA-104 project. More specifically, they are seeking a job shadowing experience to exchange ideas and knowledge in the field of project-based learning (PBL).
