Title: The Christmas spirit is creativity
Description of the project: The municipality of Medina de Rioseco is preparing an Erasmus+ KA2 project that aims to create a European cooperation network focused on the promotion of innovative strategies and initiatives that stress the potential of Christmas as driving force of the Cultural and Creative Economy in the European cities (decoration, gifts, articles, images, costumes, crib, music, traditions, markets, etc.).
Objectives:
- Value the Christmas’ economic potential in relation with the development of the cultural and creative economy in 7 different European territories;
- Contribute to generate knowledge and support for the improvement of youth policies and creative and cultural entrepreneurship;
- Promote the empowerment and the improvement of workers’ profiles in the field of youth, in
relation with this social sector and the tradition of Christmas.
Deadline: The project will be presented on April 26 and will last 24 months, from December 2018 to December 2019.
