EUROPEAN PROJECTS. ITALY. Description of the project: Civita is a Service Company specialized in the Vocational Education and Training sector, with offices in Catania, Siracusa, Palermo and Trapani (Italy). Civita works together firms, offering them innovative tools for the improvement of their human resources and relevant skills for managing supply and demands of labour by promoting events addressed to a general qualitative renovation of the territorial economic system as a whole. We started our activity in 2006 and, thanks to the experience and cultural background of its associates and partners, we currently offer a significant and variegate array of professional services in the areas of interest, such as: – Planning, management and evaluation of regional, national, and European integrate projects; Civita’s methodology and education training system are addressed to fulfil both individual and local specific economic needs across several sectors, thereof contributing to a general improvement of professional skills in the areas in which its activities are pursued. We plan and promote programmes for workers and companies, with the financial support of interprofessional training funds. Civita acts in specific sectors as Agriculture, Food Industry, Tourism, Health, ICT, to improve professional skills. Civita has the accreditation to act for the Training in the Health Sector and Safety at Work Sector.
