H2020 - Green Deal. Turkey

Description of the project: A Turkish company which created a greenhouse with a vertical farming concept established a consortium consisting of Turkish, German, Danish and Greek partners in order to submit a project proposal to Horizon 2020-Green Deal Call-Area 6: "Testing and demonstrating systemic innovations in support of the Farm-to-Fork Strategy". The project's goal is to bring solution to sustainability and security of food production and supply systems. Its aim is to minimize the energy consumption in food production in soilless agriculture, to maximize savings in water and fertilizer use and to deliver safe and durable foods to consumers in the shortest way without using any harmful pesticides.

Partner sought: The consortium looks for companies and research institutions involved in:

- innovative waste recycling,

- innovative liquid fertilizers and nutritional products,

- personalized dietary solutions

- waste food management

- vertical farming

- agro-food
