Description of the Project:
The Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) – Volcani Center is constituted by six institutes which research in Plant Sciences, Animal Science, Plant Protection, Soil, Water and Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, and Postharvest and Food Sciences. Its main research area is focused on remote sensing and mathematical models to support precision irrigation and fertilization. The project consists of developing remote-sensing-based crop water consumption estimation models for agricultural water management and irrigation. ARO is looking to join an existing/forming consortium.
