PROJECT NAME: Geotrek, business management tool and recovery paths
PRESENTATION OF THE ASSOCIATION: Makina Corpus is a French company based in Toulouse and Nantes and specialized in open source mapping and software development.
The company wants to answer to the call by operating its existing tool, Geotrek. This online tool is designed to manage and develop the trails for experts and the general public. On the experts’ side, the tool can be used by the different departments of a tourism organization (communication, technical operators, and managers). On the public side, Geotrek helps hikers to organize their itinerary with details about the length of the hike, the path to take, etc.
OBJECTIVES: set up a project of promotion of the transnational tourism through routes, itineraries and certain transnational tourist offers related to coastal or maritime tourism and rural tourism or mountain. The company is interested in start up Geotrek, its new software tool related to tourism.
PARTNER SEARCHED: The structure is looking for 5 partners from 4 different participating countries (public or private authorities, SMEs, associations, travel agencies ... etc.).
DEADLINE FOR DE PARTNER SEARCH: as soon as possible.
DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF THE PROJECT: 07/10/2014.
