Title: "Fostering startup & innovation ecosystems inEurope"
Description of the Project / Partner sought: This project is a consequence of an INTERREG IVC project (Young SMEs http://www.youngsmes.eu/), focused on improving the local and regional public instruments to support the market consolidation and competitiveness of SMEs during their 4th and 5th years.
Today, startup and innovation ecosystems are flourishing worldwide generating growth and employment. In Europe, however, these hotspots are still emerging. We have thriving startups but now we need to make them ramp-up, growth and make them global. To do so, we need them to be part of the local and regional innovation ecosystems.
To do so between 5 and 7 local or regional public authorities with competences in entrepreneurship and innovation will cooperate to improve their local policies. All partners will exchange experiences and share practices, and the involvement of their local stakeholders will be mandatory.

- Torun Economic Dev Agency (Poland);
- Malta Enterprise (Malta);
- Tartu City Gov. (Estonia);
