"Articolo 3 - Observatory on discriminations" located in Mantua (Lombardy Region - Italy) is interested in join a project leader or consortium in Europe in order to participate to the Call of Justice "Projects to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance" (JUST/2014/RRAC/AG) deadline 12 november 2014.
"Articolo 3 - Observatory on discriminations"has been set up by representatives of the Hebrew Community, of the Institute of Contemporary History, of the Institute of Sinti Culture, of Sucar drom association and Arcigay. Persons belonging to these associations symbolically represent the heirs of those people who have been persecuted by the Nazi and Fascist Regime.
The Observatory has an important role to prevent and combat racism and other forms of intollerance at regional level.
It offers legal support and summon people to the court on behalf of a third party and since the 2008, articolo 3 works on solving discrimination issues providing mediation assistance.
It organises training courses about anti discrimination to sensitise social workers, law enforcement agencies and local authorities.
