Title: Franco-german Youth Exchange "Babel Image"
Description of the Project:
The youth-meeting will take place in the youth-meeting-center in Niederbronn-les-Bains (Alsace, France), where the french and german bilingual team organises 120 projects each year with several partners (schools, non-profit youth organisations...)
Young people between 14 and 17 years old choose an european topic and formulate a controversial question. Little teams develop an advertising campaign to defend their point of view. They can use different medias, make little movies, write articles, organize events...
The aim is to allow them to debate together, develop their arguments and let them think about how images and medias can be used to influence public opinion.
