Title: Queer Faces Migrant Voices
Description of the project: Stichting art.1 is developing this project, a strategic partnersip project for cultural and youth work organizations in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and/or Germany who work with young, queer migrants who recently fled their home countries because of their sexual orientation.
Project objectives:
In this project we will build an alliance of European organization who use soft skill storytelling methods to help queer refugees and migrants convey their life stories. These methods can vary from theater, film, storytelling, poetry, spoken word. These stories will be disseminated through podcast channels, radio interviews, videos and youth work. Also, the results of the project will be presented during presentations during film festivals and to policymakers and politicians.
Partner sought:
2 cultural and arts organizations that work with young, queer migrants and refugees from France, Germany, Belgium.
